Part 1 starts with the 10-man field taking on the iconic Elephant Bar Deadlift, and with four competitors hitting 400+ LBS, it's World's Strongest Man Tom Stoltman and Canadian legend JF Caron jockeying for top position. Next, in the Cyr Dumbbell Ladder, another former WSM champion, Oleksii Novikov, nearly doubles every other competitor's best effort, completing all five DB lifts (253, 274, 280, 290, and 300 LBS) with apparent ease.
